Architectural Project Manager

Sprotte+Watson Architecture and Planning, Inc. is an established north San Diego County architectural firm in its 25th year of business. As architects specializing in High Performance K-12 facilities, we are looking for motivated individuals who want to make a positive impact in architecture and education. Minimum Qualifications:
• 4-year minimum architectural college degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
• 3 years minimum experience with public school projects within the USA
• Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of 2019 California Building Code, Title 24. Americans with Disabilities Act
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
• Ability to produce documents in an accurate and timely manner
• Ability to coordinate with other team members and consultants
• Exhibits sound, practical, professional judgment at all times
Beneficial Additional Skills:
• Ability to assist with design and design development of projects
• Proficient in the use of Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up and other similar software
• Knowledge of CHPS design and/or LEED certification
• Knowledge of Master Spec or similar specification programs
• Ability to coordinate with outside consultants
• Construction Administrative experience
• Knowledge of the permitting process through the Division of the State Architect (DSA)
• An individual working toward Architectural Licensing welcome
